ABOUT AMERICAN TWO-WAY

Nearly three decades ago, concerned by the excessively high numbers of false alarms from existing alarm panels, we created a method for immediate verification of emergencies. This new technology became known as two-way voice or audio verification. Recognizing this new technology would be well-suited to assist seniors in remaining in their residences longer without the need for managed care, we also created the very first Medical Alert systems.

At first, two-way voice was available only through our own systems such as the One Touch, Sentinel and Companion systems. Understanding the important role this new technology would play in the life safety industry, other companies licensed our verification technologies. Today, virtually every alarm panel manufacturer offers two-way voice. 

Throughout the past several decades, many of the biggest names in the industry have relied on American Two-Way for our unique services, products and technologies.
